Can the patient respond to my questions?

This is a GREAT question! We are actively researching ways to integrate audible responses from the patients into HoloPatient and our other patient sim apps. Stay tuned for advances in this exciting technology!

Several of the patients in HoloPatient will speak and describe their symptoms or provide other information. These statements are part of the video clips.

At this time however, no, the patients in HoloPatient cannot participate in any dialog with session participants. We encourage you to use the HoloPatient Facilitator Guide (available to instructors) to scaffold the learner experience and provide patient updates and a sense of patient responses based on that information.
